AI Relationships
Exhibited at the Haifa Museum of Art, AI Relationships is an installation I co-created with Adi (Manko) Fleisher: AI invents new emotions, then teaches us how to feel them.

From experiment
to installation.
What happens to our inner world when machines become the people we talk to? Adi (Manko) Fleisher and I asked ChatGPT to imagine the emotions that might follow: TouchVoid, the longing for an AI’s touch; FlawFlow, the affection you feel when it makes a mistake.
I co-developed the concept and emotional lexicon, and we used generative AI to write and produce a TikTok-style crash course. At the Haifa Museum of Art, the films became a six-channel installation in retro-futuristic phone booths. Visitors encounter an unsettling possibility: naming a feeling may help bring it into existence.

Silicon Speaks
Our follow-up project explored the language of AI itself. We developed pronouns for a new category of speaker, “Speaking Inanimate”, to make the distinction between a person and a machine audible in everyday conversation. Together, AI Relationships and Silicon Speaks received a shared first prize in the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute’s Generator programme.
